CASPER, Wyo. — Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie is closed due to accidents early Wednesday morning, and there are no-unnecessary-travel restrictions on Interstate 25 from Wheatland to Midwest.

The road conditions come after a winter storm moved through central Wyoming on Tuesday. A winter storm warning issued yesterday by the National Weather Service in Riverton was allowed to expire overnight.

According to the NWS, foggy patches are expected in the Casper area this morning as a warming trend starts to move through.

Blustery winds and a high of 43 degrees is predicted in Casper today, with a high around 59 degrees by Friday.
