CASPER, Wyo. — Temperatures are falling this morning as a cold front moves through central Wyoming today.

The high temperature in the upper 50s was reached overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton, and should dip to 40 degrees by early this afternoon. Blustery winds with gusts above 30 mph are expected.

Rain turning to snow is expected as the day moves forward, tapering off late tonight.

Sunny skies will appear on Wednesday, with a high in the low 50s.

Heavier snow fall is predicted for the western part of the state, said the NWS.
