Boo! Snow, rain will likely haunt Casper on Halloween weekend

CASPER, Wyo. — Casper trick-or-treaters may get showered with snow as well as candy on Halloween night.

According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, a chance for rain showers is possible starting Saturday afternoon and continuing through the night.

Sunday sees a chance of rain and snow on and off through the day, with a slight chance of more precipitation overnight into Monday.

Temperatures leading up to Halloween weekend are seasonal, with highs in the low to mid-50s today and Thursday and a high of 63 degrees on Friday. Blustery winds will likely continue through the week.

Saturday’s high will reach 47 degrees, with a high of 41 degrees on Halloween day.
