Colder with some snow in Casper area on Wednesday

CASPER, Wyo. — Rain and snow will fall on Wednesday morning in central Wyoming before tapering off, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.

The high of 41 degrees has already been hit early today, they said, and temperatures should dip down to around 36 degrees later this afternoon. The overnight low will be 29 degrees.

Blustery winds will follow the precipitation this afternoon, with gusts up to 41 mph.

Some areas of central Wyoming could see gusts up to 55 mph today, said the NWS.

Tomorrow will be mostly clear and windy, with a high of 40 degrees.

There’s a chance of rain showers on Saturday, according to the NWS.
