Wyoming mountains may see snow Saturday; snow and November rain may return to Casper into new week

CASPER, Wyo. — Some Wyoming mountains could see some snow return on Saturday with the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton calling for a chance of snow in northwest Wyoming and in the northern Bighorn mountains.

Casper Mountain has a slight chance of rain and snow on Saturday. The NWS in Riverton forecasts a 20% chance of precipitation on the mountain Saturday.

Casper is expected to get some sun over the weekend with highs forecast near 57 degrees on Saturday and 56 degrees on Sunday. Monday could be warmer with the NWS in Riverton forecasting a high near 63 degrees in Casper.

Moving into Tuesday, snow and rain could return to western and central Wyoming. The NWS in Riverton forecasts a chance for snow in the mountains and a chance for rain and snow in western and northern portions of its forecast area during the day. There is a chance of snow in central areas on Tuesday night.

Casper could see showers during the day Tuesday and the NWS in Riverton forecasts a chance of rain and snow Tuesday night. There is a slight chance that rain and snow could continue on Wednesday.

Casper Mountain has a 30% chance of rain and snow on Tuesday, Tuesday night and Wednesday. Further forecast information is available from the NWS in Riverton.
