CASPER, Wyo. — Temperatures will be cooler Saturday in central and western Wyoming, with early cloud cover expected to burn off in most areas in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.
Winds will be lighter across the area as well. In Casper, 6-mph winds are expected in the afternoon. Daytime highs will be about 45 degrees, and skies should be clear in time for the evening Christmas tree lighting at David Street Station and annual Christmas parade.
Sunday highs will be 10 to 20 degrees above normal across the region, with gusty winds returning to the Wind Corridor.
Casper should be sunny with a high near 47 Sunday. Winds will be 15 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.
