CASPER, Wyo. — There’s little relief from the stiff winds blasting central and southern Wyoming, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.
Gusts up to 70 mph are likely in Casper — mostly along Outer Drive — according to the NWS, with sustained winds around 41 mph.
Rain is possible starting in the early hours on Wednesday, turning to snow through Wednesday afternoon. Accumulation from 1 to 3 inches is possible, with blustery winds persisting.
Gusty winds are expected through the week, according to the NWS.
The high today should hit 52 degrees, with a high around 35 degrees on Wednesday and 34 degrees on Thursday.
