I-25 closes to all traffic from Cheyenne to Wheatland; ‘no unnecessary travel’ between Casper and Glenrock

CASPER, Wyo. — Interstate 25 has closed to all traffic as of 10 a.m. Wednesday morning in both directions from Cheyenne to Wheatland, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).

The rest of I-25 remains open in Wyoming but a “no unnecessary travel” advisory is in effect between Casper and Glenrock, according to WYDOT.

Closures are more widespread along I-80, which is closed to all traffic between Laramie and Rawlins and between Evanston and Granger. Eastbound travel is closed from Rock Springs to Rawlins due to winter conditions and crashes, according to WYDOT.
