CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper area is expected to see relatively warmer temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday before a chance of snow on Friday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.
Casper can expect a high near 46 degrees on Wednesday and a high near 48 degrees on Thursday, the forecast from the NWS in Riverton states. There is a 20% chance of snow showers in Casper on Thursday night and a 40% chance on Friday with 1-2 inches of snow possible.
Casper Mountain has a higher chance of seeing snow. There is a 30% chance on Thursday night, increasing to 50% on Friday, according to the NWS in Riverton. Friday snow showers could bring 1-3 inches to the mountain.
Sunny and mostly sunny conditions are expected to return to Casper over the weekend. The high on Saturday is expected to reach near 39 degrees. The NWS in Riverton forecasts a high near 38 degrees on Sunday and a high near 42 degrees on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
