CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper area is likely to see more snow Thursday night and Friday after seeing some snow accumulation overnight Tuesday.
There is a 60% chance of snow in both Casper and on Casper Mountain on Thursday night and Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.
The mountain is expected to see higher snow accumulations with a total of 3-5 inches of new snow between Thursday night and Friday. Casper could see 1-2 inches of new snow accumulation on Thursday night with new accumulation expected to be less than one inch on Friday, according to the NWS in Riverton.
Mostly cloudy conditions are expected to linger in Casper into Friday night before partly sunny and sunny conditions return over the weekend. Saturday is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 36 degrees. Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny and reach a high near 41 degrees.
The NWS in Riverton forecasts a high near 42 degrees in Casper on Monday along with a slight chance of snow. There is a chance of snow on Monday night and a slight chance again on Tuesday, according to the forecast from the NWS in Riverton.
