CASPER, Wyo. — Today’s high will be at least 25 degrees colder than Tuesday as winter weather passes through the region.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton, Casper will reach a high of only 22 degrees today, with an overnight low around 17 degrees before warming up somewhat on Thursday.
A skiff of snow fell overnight Tuesday with little measurable accumulation, but another system could bring snow starting Thursday night into Friday.
Blustery winds will return on Thursday, with gusts up to 36 mph possible, said the NWS.
There has been minimal impact on roads as of Wednesday morning, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
