Sunny Sunday sets tone for quiet weather and slightly above-normal temps in central Wyo this week

CASPER, Wyo. — Sunny skies, calm winds, and near to slightly above-average temperatures are forecast in western and central Wyoming Sunday, with quiet weather forecast through the beginning of the week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.

Casper will be mostly sunny with a high near 37 Sunday. Western breezes of 11 to 21 mph are expected, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Highs in the low 40s are expected Monday and Tuesday, but Monday should be breezier, with gusts up to 40 mph.

Some snow showers are possible across the central region Wednesday morning, though no specific chances or amounts are forecast yet for Casper.

Otherwise, mainly dry conditions and above-normal temperatures are forecast through Friday, with high temperatures in Casper in the low to mid 40s.
