CASPER, Wyo. — Gusty winds are back in Casper along with a chance for snow starting overnight.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton, winds with gusts up to 45 mph are likely as Thursday progresses. The high will reach 55 degrees.
Winds will continue overnight, with the chance for snow starting in the early hours on Friday. Patching and blowing snow will continue through late morning Friday, said the NWS. Wind gusts could be as high as 38 mph. New snow accumulation is expected to be between 1 to 3 inches.
Snow will clear in the evening, with Saturday seeing sunshine and blustery conditions and a high around 41 degrees. Sunday is expected to be warmer with a high around 50 degrees and gusty winds up to 31 mph.
