CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper area is expected to be sunny and see temperatures gradually climb this week through Thursday before a chance of rain and thunderstorms returns Friday and into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.
Monday is expected to reach a high near 70 degrees with wind gusts as high as 39 mph possible in Casper. Tuesday’s high is forecast at near 77 degrees with wind gusts up to 20 mph possible, the NWS in Riverton predicts.
Wednesday could climb as high as 87 degrees with wind gusts up to 23 mph possible. Thursday’s high is forecast to reach near 89 degrees with 26 mph wind gusts possible, according to the NWS in Riverton.
Friday’s high is expected to reach near 88 degrees with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. That chance increases to 40% Friday night, the NWS in Riverton forecasts.
A chance for rain and thunderstorms continues on Saturday, when the high is expected to reach near 76 degrees, and again on Sunday, when the high is expected to reach near 77 degrees.
