Casper may see thunderstorms Wednesday, Thursday; high to climb near 96 degrees Saturday

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper area can expect some warm temperatures this week and could see some thunderstorms on Wednesday and Thursday.

Casper’s high is expected to reach near 90 degrees on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton. Wednesday’s high is forecast near 86 degrees and there is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. That chance climbs to 40% Wednesday night.

The high is expected to reach near 88 degrees on Thursday. Casper has a 30% chance for showers and thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon, dropping to a 20% chance on Thursday night, according to the NWS in Riverton.

Friday’s high is expected to reach near 93 degrees. Saturday will likely be even warmer, with a high near 96 degrees, the NWS in Riverton forecasts. Sunday’s high is expected to reach near 91 degrees.
