CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper area could see some heavy rain from thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.
Casper has a 40% chance for showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, with isolated showers possible in the morning and scattered showers possible in the afternoon. The high is expected to reach near 88 degrees, with wind gusts up to 33 mph possible.
On Wednesday, Casper can expect a high near 89 degrees, the NWS in Riverton forecasts.
Hotter temperatures are expected later in the week with a high near 95 degrees on Thursday and a high near 92 degrees on Friday in Casper.
The chance for storms returns Friday with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon, according to the NWS in Riverton. That chance increases to 50% on Friday night.
Saturday has a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon with a high near 86 degrees expected, according to the NWS in Riverton. There is a 40% chance of precipitation on Saturday night.
Sunday’s high is forecast near 88 degrees with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Monday could reach near 90 degrees with another chance for showers and thunderstorms.
