CASPER, Wyo. — Although winter will technically last for roughly a week more, much of this coming week won’t feel very wintry, with relatively warm temperatures in the forecast throughout the coming days.

Today will be the chilliest day until Thursday, with a high of 37 and a low of 23.

Beginning on Monday, however, temperatures will stay mostly within the high 40s, even approaching the 50s.

Monday’s high temperature will be 46, the National Weather Service in Riverton forecasts. At night, temperatures will drop back down to roughly 33. Monday will also feature moderate winds, capping out at about 20 mph during the day and gaining strength overnight.

On Tuesday, temperatures will climb up to 47 degrees. However, 30–35 mph winds moving in from the southwest will temper things a bit, making conditions feel colder.

Wednesday brings with it a chance of rain, but also the warmest temperatures Casper has seen in months, with a high above 50 degrees in the forecast. At night, temperatures will drop below freezing, and the precipitation has a chance of turning into a wintry mix, the NWS in Riverton reports.
