CASPER, Wyo. — After days of punishing wind and a spat of snow, a much-welcomed period of relatively calm winds and sunny skies is on deck for the weekend in central Wyoming.

According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, scattered snow showers are expected to clear late this morning after a period of some overnight snow.

On Friday, the NWS in Riverton is calling for sunny skies and breezy winds of around 7–14 mph.

By Saturday, winds will be calm and skies mostly sunny. Sunday will be sunny and breezy.

High temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid-30s, with overnight lows between 13 and 20 degrees, the NWS in Riverton said.
