CASPER, Wyo. — The first day of spring for 2023 is expected to see rain mixed with snow, with more snow likely on Wednesday along with blustery winds throughout the week.
According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, rain and snow are likely Monday morning, turning to rain showers between 3 and 5 p.m. Little or no accumulation is expected, and the high will be near 50 degrees.
Tuesday will see wind gusts of up to 47 mph, along with a high around 40 degrees.
On Wednesday, snow is expected to start in the early morning hours and will continue through much of the day. Between 1 and 3 inches of accumulation is possible, and a high temperature of 40 degrees is likely.
Thursday and Friday are expected to be mostly sunny and windy, with highs around 40 degrees. There’s another chance of snow on Saturday.
