CASPER, Wyo. — Natrona County is under a winter weather advisory as another snow event moves through the region on Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, snow is expected to start in Casper on Wednesday morning, with the heaviest snowfall by early afternoon. Up to 3 inches of accumulation is possible in lower elevations, with Casper Mountain seeing up to 8 inches.
Blustery winds are also expected, with gusts of up to 26 mph.
Snow is expected to end by 10 p.m., according to the NWS in Riverton. Snow is again expected to start on Friday night and continue into Saturday. Accumulation will be light.
Today’s high should reach 37 degrees. Thursday will be windy with patchy snow in the morning and a high of 44.
