CASPER, Wyo. — Casper-area residents shouldn’t expect the wet conditions of late to dry up over the weekend, as the National Weather Service in Riverton predicts the recent rainfall to continue in the coming days.
Today, the NWS in Riverton predicts rainfall to begin in the late afternoon, around 4 p.m. The showers are expected to turn into thunderstorms after roughly 5 p.m.
Temperatures will climb up to 68 degrees today, with light winds moving in from the northeast. At night, temps will drop to around 50 degrees.
On Sunday, isolated showers are likely to begin before 9 a.m. Scattered thunderstorms and rain are then expected to continue throughout most of the remainder of the day.
The NWS in Riverton calls for temperatures to get up to roughly 74 degrees during the day and fall to around 52 degrees at night.
