CASPER, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Riverton’s forecast predicts a mostly sunny and hot weekend ahead for Natrona County residents, though Saturday’s weather outlook includes the slight chance of rain during the day.

Today should be sunny, with a high temperature near 92 degrees. The NWS in Riverton reports a slight 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the early afternoon between noon and 1 p.m., though. The day also features a likelihood of some windy conditions, with the NWS in Riverton reporting a west-southwest wind blowing through the area at 23–28 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday night should be mostly clear, with a low around 51 degrees after sundown. Winds could gust as strong as 37 mph at night.

Sunday will again be mostly sunny, with a high near 84 degrees. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph, the NWS in Riverton reports.
