CASPER, Wyo. — Tana Kimber, an inmate at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, died Thursday, June 8.
Kimber was convicted of aggravated assault and battery that caused injury in Campbell County and was sentenced to four to eight years in the Sixth Judicial District Court in Gillette by Judge Causey on Nov. 9, 2022, according to a news release from the Department of Corrections.
Kimber was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Jan. 19, 1969. Per WDOC policy, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, the release states.
