A Casper woman who was arrested on charges of Child Endangerment with Methamphetamine is back in jail, after police say a K9 unit revealed drugs in her vehicle. 25-year-old Ella Marie Baldwin has been booked into jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine.

Police say they contacted Baldwin during a traffic stop, after discovering that the vehicle Baldwin had been driving, failed to completely stop at a stop sign.

According the the arrest paperwork, Baldwin was cited for the traffic violation, and was then asked by  officers the K9 unit could perform a search of the vehicle. The search was consented to, police saying that Baldwin and two passengers denied having any knowledge of drugs in the truck.

Located inside the center console of the Baldwin vehicle, officers find what they believe to be a broken glass pipe with crystalline residue and a jewelers bag with white residue.

Baldwin was in the news in early February after a K9 and subsequent hand-search of her vehicle by law enforcement, yielded several items believed to contain meth residue, as well as some suspected meth being found in Baldwin’s home. Police paperwork indicated that the drugs and paraphernalia was in potential access of a young child in the home.  During her initial appearance on the February charge, Baldwin was charged with Felony Child Endangerment- Methamphetamine, and received a bond amount of $5,000 cash or surety. Another man arrested in the February incident, Russell L Sydow, was also charged with Felony Child Endangerment- Methamphetamine, and received a bond amount of $2,500 cash or surety.

Charges in any criminal case can be subject to change, and all suspects are presumed innocent until otherwise proven.
