CRC Escapee In Custody

A woman that was sought by law enforcement for leaving the Casper Re-Entry Center, but failing to return, is now in custody.

Details about Camaron M Speakman’s arrest are not yet available, however it has been confirmed in paperwork from both the Casper Police Department and Natrona County Sheriff’s Department, that Speakman was taken into custody just after 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 14th. It is unknown if Speakman was apprehended at large, or if she turned herself in.

Casper Re-Entry Center provides residential treatment, case management, work release, day reporting and transitional services to misdemeanant and felony offenders with substance use disorders.

Speakman’s original charge was for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance (Meth) out of the 7thJudicial District Court, according to a brief statement released by the Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say that Speakman left CRC for an scheduled appointment on the morning of March 11th, but failed to return at the scheduled time that afternoon.

Upon returning to custody, Speakman was booked into the Natrona County Detention Center on a charge of Escape.

All charges are subject to change and all suspects in criminal matters are considered innocent unless otherwise proven in court.
