The check was put on by the Natrona County Sheriff’s office.  During the checks an under-18-year-old individual, working in tandem with the NCSO, will walk in and attempt to purchase cigarettes from an area retailer. Cashiers successfully completing the compliance check are rewarded with a  gift card.  Retailers not passing the check could be cited.
