Cheyenne Police seek public help in pedestrian hit-and-run

The Cheyenne Police Department is seeking help from the public in a vehicle-on-pedestrian hit-and-run in the Capitol City on January 4th.

Using their Silent Witness program, the Cheyenne PD has released information about the incident, as well as two photos of a vehicle that police hope to identify.

At about 5:50 p.m., a pedestrian entered the intersection of Hot Springs Ave. and E. Lincolnway, in Cheycnne, while pushing a bicycle. A vehcile described as a “silver sedan” was westbound on E. Lincolnway, entered the intersection on a green light and struck the pedestrian.

According to a statement from Cheyenne Police, the driver left without stopping, providing any information or rendering aid.

The Cheyenne police are asking any citizens that recognize the suspect vehicle, or know anything about the driver of this vehicle, to contact the Cheyenne Police Department.
