Police say that they responded to the area of the 3900 block of East 12th Street, after a neighbor reported that individuals were in an apartment parking lot and were going through unlocked vehicles.

The reporting party said that they had observed two individuals go over to their vehicle and open the door. The reporting party said they confronted the individuals and the suspects fled, leaving the area in a Silver Malibu.

The suspects were described as being a male and a female.

Officers say that they pulled over a Silver Malibu near the intersection of 15th and Melrose Streets. Police pulled the vehicle over and made contact with McClain, Boykin, and a minor.

The minor and Boykin denied entering any vehicles, and denied being at an apartment complex.

McClain told officers that he had pulled over at some point, but was unsure of where. During that time, he told police that Boykin and the minor left the vehicle, and returned while wearing their hoods up. McClain said that he had been in the vehicle the whole time.

Police say that there were numerous footprints, which had been around the vehicle, that appeared to belong to all three individuals.

A search of the vehicle reportedly found three BB guns.

Police say that the minor in the case was cited for Curfew Violation and was released to the custody of their family.

Boykin and McClain were arrested and transported to the Natrona County Detention Center.
