CASPER, Wyo. — Details have been released regarding felony drug charges that have been brought against a woman in Natrona County.
Tauna Jane Macias made her initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court on Friday, May 10, 2019. She faces charges of Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine in a Felony Weight, and Possession of a Controlled Substance on a Third or Subsequent Offense.
An affidavit filed in the case says that the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation’s Central Enforcement Team began an investigation into Macias in April.

Agents say that a criminal informant had told them that Macias was selling methamphetamine.
During early April, agents say that it was arranged for the criminal informant to make a controlled purchase of methamphetamine from Macias.
The buy was completed under the supervision of the Central Enforcement Team, where the criminal informant said that they had purchased approximately 5 grams of methamphetamine for $300.
Macias was arrested on May 9, 2019, following an unrelated alleged incident where she was charged with multiple traffic violations.
During her initial appearance on Friday, Macias was handed two bond amounts for the felony drug charges and the traffic charges.
For Careless Driving, No Insurance, and Expired Registration, Macias received a bond amount of $500 cash or surety.
For Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Felony Possession, and Possession in a 3rd or Subsequent Offense, Macias was handed a bond of $20,000 cash or surety.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.
