Frontier Days ride operator arrested, suspected of Sexual Battery

CASPER, Wyo. — The Cheyenne Police Department says that a carnival ride operator at Cheyenne Frontier Days was arrested in relation to a sexual battery investigation.

The Cheyenne Police say that they are looking for additional witnesses in regards to the case.

On July 26, 2019 Cheyenne Police say that Felipe Catalina-Juarez, age 36 of Mexico, was operating the “Zero Gravity” ride when he was witnessed touching the crotch of an adult female patron.

Police ask any Frontier Days attendees who witnessed similar activity at this ride, to contact Cheyenne PD Detective Fernandez at 307-633-6638.

Catalina-Juarez was arrested on suspicion of Sexual Battery.

This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
