Editor’s note- An earlier version of this story identified suspect Robert Johnson as having a warrant for Wrongful Taking or Disposing of Property. However, Oil City published a booking photo for the incorrect Robert Johnson. The photo was supplied by CPD officials on Wednesday, who later confirmed the error and sent the correct booking photo.
Oil City regrets the error and has updated this version of the story with the correct booking photo.
Readers have also contacted Oil City, saying that another suspect, appearing in an earlier version of this story, may be in custody, in another Wyoming community. The suspect is wanted on a Failure to Appear warrant. Casper Police were unable to immediately confirm if the suspect was in custody, but did confirm that he had a Casper warrant as of the morning of July 30, 2019. Because Oil City was unable to confirm the status of this suspect, his name and photo have been removed from the story.
