NCSO seeks suspect in cable theft

CASPER, Wyo. — Following the announcement of the arrest of three people on felony charges relating to the theft of copper and electrical cable from three Wyoming businesses, the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office says that a fourth suspect remains at large.

NCSO is seeking information on the whereabouts of 40-year-old Robert L. Johnson, in connection with the theft investigation.

Investigator Taylor Courtney, with the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office, says that Johnson is being sought on suspected charges of felony Conspiracy and felony Taking or Receiving Stolen Property.

The investigation reportedly began several weeks ago, and includes two businesses in Natrona County and one wind farm outside of Natrona County.

The NCSO says that various quantities of cable, including electrical copper cable, were taken from industrial businesses in Casper. 

Johnson made headlines earlier this week, as a person wanted by the Casper Police Department. On July 30, 2019; CPD announced that Johnson had a warrant for Wrongful Taking or Disposing of Property.
