Man arrested in Cheyenne on Attempted Murder charge

CASPER, Wyo. — Cheyenne Police officials say that a man wanted on Attempted 1st Degree Murder Charges has been taken into custody in the Capital City.

In a written statement sent to media Monday, the Cheyenne Police Department reported arresting Joseph Sena, age 27, of
Cheyenne, following a call for service on September 2nd.

Cheyenne PD officials say that at approximately 10:20 am, Sunday, officers responded to the area of 900 W College Drive, in Cheyenne, where reports had been made regarding Sena’s location.

Officers arrived on scene, and Sena is said to have surrendered without incident.

Sena was taken into custody and was booked on multiple warrants including Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Simple Battery and Property Destruction.

Further details were not made available by the Cheyenne Police Department.

All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
