Wyoming law describes 3rd degree sexual assault as when the actor subjects a victim to sexual contact without inflicting sexual intrusion on the victim and without causing serious bodily injury to the victim.

All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the appropriate respective county and federal offices.

During the initial appearance, Judge Patchen also handed down a bond amount of $20,000 cash-only. The amount was recommended by the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office, and agreed upon by Patchen. When asked, by the court, if he wanted to address bond, Maggard declined.

The case’s next stop will be a Preliminary Hearing, to determine if the felony case will be bound over to District Court.
