CASPER, Wyo. — A Billings woman was taken to a hospital after a shooting incident at about 4:30 am on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
The 27 year old “suffered a gunshot wound in the area of 924 South 29th Street and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury,” the Billings Police Department said on Twitter.
Billings PD said the investigation is on-going.

Multiple other shooting incidents have occurred in Billings recently.
A 17 year old male “sustained two gunshot wounds” in an early morning shooting on Nov. 18. Billings PD said that incident occurred in the 1000 block of North 25th Street. He was transported to a local hospital.
Another female was transported to a hospital after a shooting on the night of Nov. 16. Billings PD said that incident too place in the area of 7th Avenue and South 27th Street.
Police didn’t share that woman’s age in their statement.
On the night of Nov. 9, a 24 year old victim was transported to a hospital after sustaining injuries in a shooting at Shooters Bar at 1600 Avenue D.
“Later in the evening a 22 year old female was found and arrested in connection with the shooting,” Billings PD said.
The gender of the victim was not identified.
