Laramie man faces charges of felonious Restraint, Strangulation

CASPER, Wyo. —  Laramie Police are saying that they have one mn in custody following an arrest on Thursday.

Officers with the Laramie PD say on January 30, 2020, at approximately midnight, police responded to the report of a disturbance in the 100 Block of South 6th Street, in Laramie.

Complete details haven’t been released, but LPD says as a result of the Officers’ investigation, Erik M. Brantley, a 31-year-old male, was arrested and charged with Strangulation of a Household Member and Felonious Restraint.

Bond has not yet been set on the two felony charges, and Brantley remains incarcerated at the Albany County Detention Center, according to officials.

All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
