CASPER, Wyo. — Officials say that one man has been arrested and transported to the Natrona County Detention Center, after attempting what authorities are calling a “physical escape” from the Casper Re-Entry Center.
On Saturday March 21, at approximately 10:50 pm, a man identified as a Federal inmate at the Casper Re-Entry center reportedly tried to escape the residential work release facility.
Natrona County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Taylor Courtney says that Bryson Brown, age 30, attempted to “physically escape” from the facility.

“He didn’t walk away,” Courtney said. “He attempted a physical escape. In the process he assaulted two staff members. He was not able to escape, our deputies were able to get there and take him into custody.”
According to jail records, Brown was booked in under recommended charges of Battery and a hold for Casper Re-Entry Center.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.
