CASPER, Wyo. — The Rawlins Police Department said on Monday, June 22 that a Rawlins resident is facing multiple felony charges.
Christopher Howard, 40, has been charged with domestic battery, strangulation of a household member and aggravated assault for his alleged actions, according to Rawlins PD.
Rawlins PD responded to a domestic disturbance report on June 4 at the 3000 block of Lerwick Dr. in Rawlins, leading to Howard’s arrest.

“Domestic Battery WS 6-2-511a, Strangulation of a Household Member WS 6-2-509aii, and Aggravated Assault and Battery WS 6-2-502aiii are felonies with a maximum penalty of 10 years and a fine of not more than $10,000, or both,” Rawlins PD said. “At this time, the charges are accusations and the defendent is innocent until proven guilty.”
