Rock Springs, Wyoming Police say that a woman that was found in the parking lot of a hospital, was in possession of controlled substances and has been recommended for seven drug-related offenses, as well as multiple other charges.
On July 23, 2020, at approximately 8:00 pm, Rock Springs Police say that officers responded to the Aspen Medical Center parking lot for the report of a suspicious vehicle.
Upon arrival Victoria Yarnell, age 28, of Idaho Falls, ID was found in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. A statement from the Rock Springs Police Department described the suspect as “unresponsive,” but did not elaborate.

“During the investigation, officers found that Yarnell was in possession of several different types of controlled substances to include approximately 25 grams of Heroin,” Rock Springs PD said Friday. “Yarnell was subsequently arrested and charged with seven different drug offenses, Interference with a Police Officer, Driving Under Suspension, and Driving While Under the Influence.”
This case remains under investigation.
All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Sweetwater County District Attorney’s Office.
