A man on a stolen motorcycle led Uinta County Sheriff officers on a high speed chase on Monday morning.
According to a social media post, officers attempted to stop the motorcycle near the Travel Centers of America off Interstate 80. The attempted stop turned into a pursuit, with the motorcycle maintaining speeds of 90 to 100 mph.
The driver exited at Highway 414. Backup from Lyman Police and Mountain View Police responded as the pursuit continued through Mountain View on Highway 414, eventually moving to Highway 530 towards Green River.

According to officials, the driver, identified as Wren Curtis formally of Worland, was “throwing items from his person onto the highway.”
The motorcycle crashed at the Buckboard Crossing turnoff, where the Wyoming Highway Patrol and Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist.
The driver was transported to Sweetwater Memorial Hospital of Rock Springs where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
He was later arrested and transported to the Uinta County Detention Center.
