CASPER, Wyo — A woman was arrested for driving under the influence following a two-vehicle crash Saturday, February 20, in Rock Springs, according to the Rock Springs Police Department.
Police identified Rock Springs resident Kimberly Ensign, 41, as the driver of a Dodge pickup truck that left its lane of travel and crashed head-on into a Nissan Maxima shortly before 1:00 pm Saturday. The Dodge pickup went up over the car and landed on its driver’s side, police said.
The drivers were treated on scene and released. The passenger in the Nissan was transported to Sweetwater Memorial Hospital with reportedly minor injuries.

Ensign was subsequently arrested and charged with a first offense of driving under the influence and “failure to maintain single lane-crash”.
The Rock Springs Police Department reminds the community that all suspects are presumed innocent until their case has been adjudicated in a court of law.
