(Fremont County, WY) – The Wyoming Highway Patrol shared with County 10 that they have seen an increase in dark windows in the Riverton and Lander areas and have started to pull drivers over.

The law states that vehicles cannot have tinting more than five inches from the top of windshields.
The rear and side windows of a sedan cannot have more than a 28% window tint.
Front truck and SUV driver and passenger sides cannot have more than a 28% window tint. However, its back windows can be as dark as you want as long as you have both side mirrors.
Businesses who purposefully break this law can also be cited.
