Firearm Assault Investigation Continues (CPD)
Shortly before 9 p.m. on June 13, Casper Police responded to the 2500 block of South Jefferson Street for a report of an assault with a firearm, police said. The investigation revealed that a dispute took place between two individuals, an adult male and a male juvenile, who knew each other.
“Ultimately, the dispute escalated and the male juvenile fired several gunshots, one of which injured the adult male victim. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries,” Casper Police Department Public Information Officer Rebekah Ladd told Oil City.
Officers have the identity of the male juvenile suspect and are continuing to investigate this case.
Probation Violation, Intoxication, June 20 (NCSO)
Deputies were called to the 8500 block of Airport Parkway shortly before 10 p.m. Monday for a report of a family fight. Reporting parties stated a man and woman were arguing, and the man rammed into a camper with a vehicle. Arriving deputies found the man had shut himself in the camper and refused to come out to speak with them. The NCSO learned that the man was currently on probation and restricted from alcohol use. The man was arrested and found to have a BAC of .22%, the affidavit states.
Vehicle Theft, Alcova Lake, June 20
A member of the boat club reported that his boat had been improperly secured after granting its use to a family member. The boat was found unsecured and drifting against a rocky shore. The reporting party stated it had been used for a “joyride,” and that a full tank of gas had been reduced to a quarter tank.
