Boating Accident, Pathfinder Reservoir, June 21 (NCSO)

NCSO deputies and Wyoming Game and Fish Department officials responded to a call for a boat in distress at Pathfinder Reservoir on Tuesday around 4 p.m. A man and a woman in a 20-foot fishing boat struck an outcropping of rock on Sweetwater Arm, according to Game and Fish Casper Regional Office Public Information Specialist Janet Milek. The boat initially flipped, but returned to an upright position. Deputies and Game and Fish helped tow the boat back to the dock. The woman was life flighted to Banner Wyoming Medical Center for unknown injuries, and has since been released, Milek said.

Theft, June 21 (CPD)

A caller reported that her laptop had been stolen. The laptop may have been stolen by a known person to her who had access to the residence, Casper Police Department Public Information Officer Rebekah Ladd told Oil City.

Residential Burglary, June 21 (CPD)

A man called police around 6:26 p.m. Tuesday and stated he believed someone broke into his home through a window and stole some cash, Ladd said. The victim stated he thought he knew who the potential suspect was. An investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle Theft, June 20 (CPD)

A father lent his adult son a vehicle over a year ago, according to Ladd. 

“The father’s daughter recently told him that the son told her the vehicle had been stolen. Officers are still attempting to get in touch with the son. The vehicle was logged as stolen,” Ladd said.
