CASPER, Wyo. — A Casper Re-Entry Center escapee has been located and arrested in Gering, Nebraska, Natrona County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kiera Grogan told Oil City News on Tuesday.
Austen Bagner was reported as an escapee last Thursday when he failed to return to the facility after telling staff he was checking out to look for a job, according to the original release.
Grogan said investigators got multiple tips through Crime Stoppers of Central Wyoming, and local authorities found him in Nebraska.
Bagner was originally convicted of felony possession of a controlled substance and was serving time in the facility on a revocation, the NCSO said.
