Natrona County Circuit Court arraignments (3/31/23)

CASPER, Wyo. — Provided below are the defendants and charges from appearances in Natrona County Circuit Court on Friday, March 31. Some charges from Thursday are also listed. 

Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Brian Christensen presided, while Assistant District Attorney Kevin Taheri represented the state.

All persons entering not guilty pleas or charged with felonies are presumed innocent until convicted or pleading guilty. Official charges are subject to change by the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.

Pleas on felony charges are not entered in circuit court, though bond conditions are set.

Also included are pleading to modified charges entered in circuit in court.

Felonies and engrossed misdemeanors (pleas not entered in circuit court)

  • Shawna Hansen, 35 – Burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, grand theft
    • $5,000 cash or surety bond
  • Benjamin Sorby, 38 – Burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, grand theft
    • $5,000 cash or surety bond
  • Erin Gehrer, 27 – Grand theft, petty theft, eluding
    • $15,000 cash or surety
  • Cecellia Clason, 40 – Grand theft, petty theft, interference
    • $15,000 cash or surety

No contest and guilty pleas

  • Sara Sjol, 35 – Possession of methamphetamine
    • One year suspended
    • One year supervised probation
    • $300 fine

Not guilty pleas

  • Andrew Barrett, 37 – Domestic battery
    • $5,000 cash or surety bond
  • Ashley Workman, 26 – Probation revocation
    • $1,000 signature bond
  • Wayne Knofel, 62 – Driving under suspension, no insurance, no interlock device
    • $2,000 signature bond
  • Kelbey Lahey, 22 – Interference, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana
    • $1,000 cash or surety bond
