Books by the hundreds are available to anyone who wants them at the Natrona County School District’s book discard in the North Casper Elementary gym.

The books were made available earlier in the week to teachers and home schoolers, and are now available to the public.

Librarians around the school district keep track of check out rates and routinely cull books that are older or under performing, according to LeAnn Aagard of the NCSD Central Services.

The public is welcome to peruse the books until 5 p.m. today, and from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. on Thursday at the North Casper Elementary gym.
