Casper couple dies in Costa Rica

Casper area social media was a place for memories and remembrances of for a couple who died while on vacation in Cost Rica this week.

According to an article from the Costa Rica Star, 48-year-old Darren Duane Mizokami and his wife was Kimberly J. Mizokami, age 41, were reportedly swimming near the Costa Rica city of Nicoya, Guanacaste when they drowned.

The Costa Rica Star says the couple and another adult were at a river waterhole known as El Salto. Darren reportedly jumped in the waterhole and began to have trouble. The article then says that Kimberly jumped in to try to help him.

Their traveling companion is said to have gone for help but when she arrived back the couple had drowned.
