CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Highway Patrol has released information about their involvement in an investigation, that began with a man threatening to jump from a parking structure in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
On October 30, 2019, troopers responded to the Wyoming State Parking garage in Cheyenne, for a subject threatening to jump from the top floor.
Authorities with the Wyoming Highway Patrol say that at around 7:14 am, WHP troopers responded to the area to assist Cheyenne Police Department, who were already on the scene.

“Cheyenne Police Department negotiators responded and were safely able to take the subject into custody for evaluation,” the WHP statement said. “The parking garage was closed for a short time while law enforcement officers dealt with the incident.”
Cheyenne Police Department is the lead agency on the ongoing investigation.
