Authorities, K9s continue search for Colorado boy

Searchers in Colorado continued to look for an 11-year-old El Paso County, Colorado boy that has been missing for nearly three weeks.

Gannon Stauch was last seen by his step-mother on the afternoon of Jan. 27 at his home in Security, Colorado. His step-mother reported that Stauch has left home between 3:15 and 4 pm to play at a friend’s house in the neighborhood.

Stauch was reportedly wearing a blue jacket with hood, jeans, and tennis shoes when he was last seen.

The El Paso County, Colorado Sheriff’s Office and various partners, continued to search specific areas on February 13 2020. According to a statement from officials over 80 trained individuals and specialized assets; to include Search and Rescue, Mounted, and K-9s; assisted in search efforts Thursday.

“The Sheriff’s Office has received 465 tips to date. These tips include possible sightings, search suggestions, social media related information, suspicious activity, found property/possible evidence and video/photo/drone evidence,” a EPSO statement said Thursday. “The goal remains to find Gannon and bring him home safely.”
